Fighters Forge Brings Home The Gold!!!

On Friday May 2, 2009 Fighters Forge brought home 2 more titles, bringing our total up to 11. Darrill "The Boss" Schoonover won the official, state recognized Heavyweight MMA championship in Lubbock, Texas against Rex Richards at the Shark Fights 4 event. Darrill won with a devastating barrage of punches after flooring Richards with a left hook. The referee stepped in and halted the fight declaring Darrill the winner by TKO. Darrill now holds 3 professional MMA championships.

Meanwhile, half a state away, Odell "Pain" Pantin defeated Jeff Fross in a 3 round decision to become the TXMMA Amateur Heavyweight Champion.
